Responsibility

I read a great chapter on Responsibility in John Maxwell's Talent is Never Enough. We must take responsibility for the world we live in. We cannot wait for others to change the world. We need to change the world by changing ourselves.

There's a sign in my office that says "If it is to be, then it is up to me." If our world is going to change, then we need to change it. We cannot wait for a politician, athlete or entertainer to be the catalyst for changing our culture. We, as believers, must infilitrate the culture and change it.

We could point fingers to blame previous generations, but will we leave the world a better place? Will there be positive change on our watch? Or are we going to let it continually decline?

If the world is going to change......if the world is going to be reached, then it is up to me. Responsibility.
